Oracle Cloud regions in Mumbai and Hyderabad to host NetSuite services for customers based in India.
Brian Chess, SVP Technology and AI, Oracle NetSuite, “To meet the demand of our growing customer base in India and expand our footprint of data centers around the world, I’m excited to announce NetSuite is opening data centers in the Oracle Cloud Mumbai Region and the Oracle Cloud Hyderabad Region. This will be the first time NetSuite will run on data centers in India.”
All new NetSuite customers in India will be provisioned in these new regions, and existing customers in India will be migrated in the coming months. Throughout this process, customers should not notice a difference in NetSuite functionality. NetSuite data centers are always built with the same world-class security, reliability, and performance, regardless of region.
Helping Customers Comply with Indian Regulations
By hosting NetSuite in the Oracle Cloud Mumbai Region and the Oracle Cloud Hyderabad Region, we will be able to help India-based customers reduce cross-border data transfers and benefit from NetSuite’s embedded AI features. In addition, with two separate data centers in India, we can provide disaster recovery services while helping our customers meet their geographical data storage requirements.
Expanding Our Global Data Center Footprint
Oracle Cloud Mumbai Region and Oracle Cloud Hyderabad Region are part of Oracle’s network of global data centers. They are designed to enable enterprises like NetSuite to build infrastructure with high security, availability, and disaster protection and allow us to extend our commitment to providing rapid scalability and outstanding performance to our growing customer base in India.
With the addition of these regions, NetSuite is now running in 16 OCI regions in North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific. This enables NetSuite customers, regardless of size, to access the same benefits that used to only be available to the largest global organizations.
