Job Summary:
The Business Analyst – ERP with experience in the manufacturing domain is responsible for implementing, managing, and optimizing ERP systems to enhance operational efficiency in manufacturing processes. This role requires a deep understanding of both ERP functionalities and manufacturing workflows, ensuring that the ERP system aligns with the company’s production goals, supply chain management, and overall business strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- ERP Implementation and Customization:
- Lead the implementation and configuration of ERP systems tailored to manufacturing operations.
- Customize ERP modules to support production, inventory management, quality control, procurement, and supply chain functions.
- Business Process Analysis:
- Analyze and map manufacturing processes to identify areas of improvement.
- Collaborate with production managers, supply chain teams, and other stakeholders to define ERP requirements.
- Design and document workflows, ensuring that ERP solutions support business objectives.
- Data Management and Reporting:
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards within the ERP system to monitor manufacturing KPIs (e.g., production efficiency, inventory levels, and order fulfillment).
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across the ERP system by implementing effective data management practices.
- System Optimization:
- Continuously assess the ERP system’s performance and recommend enhancements to streamline manufacturing processes.
- Automate workflows and reduce manual tasks by leveraging ERP tools.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Act as the liaison between IT, production teams, and other departments to ensure seamless communication and alignment on ERP initiatives.
- Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they are equipped to maximize the ERP system’s capabilities.
- Compliance and Security:
- Ensure that the ERP system complies with industry regulations and manufacturing standards (e.g., ISO certifications).
- Implement security measures to safeguard sensitive production and operational data.
- Project Management:
- Manage ERP-related projects, including upgrades, new implementations, and module rollouts.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring timely and successful project delivery.
- Vendor and Partner Management:
- Collaborate with ERP vendors and third-party partners to manage system updates, troubleshoot issues, and implement new features.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Certifications in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) are a plus.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems with experience in manufacturing modules (e.g., production planning, material management).
- Proficiency in SQL, data analysis tools, and ERP reporting tools.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, including lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and supply chain management.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:
- Ability to analyze complex manufacturing workflows and translate them into ERP solutions.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving ERP system issues.
